Childbirth/Parenting Classes: Most parenting and childbirth classes (including UH MacDonald Prenatal Tours) that are being offered by UH Cleveland & Geauga Medical Centers are now being offered virtually. Following class registration, you will receive instructions on how to participate in these classes via email. However, the following classes have been cancelled; Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid and Prenatal Couple Massage. If you have any questions regarding classes for these locations please call, 440-995-3831.

Brain Power: Help your Patients Reach their True Potential

Occurs Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM

Participants attending this program will learn how the mind and its thoughts can positively and negatively impact a patients/clients healthcare experience, outcomes, and future. Participants will learn about neurogenesis, and how to retrain their own brains in order to teach patients/clients strategies to increase their compliance, improve resilience, improve confidence, reduce resistance, and therefore, promote improved healthcare experiences and long-term positive change.
