Strategies to Improve Health Literacy in Clinical Research

Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

If you interact with patients or develop patient-facing research materials (recruitment flyers, consent forms, etc), join us for this informative session -- Limited health literacy can affect anyone and plays a large role in a patient’s ability to find, process, understand, and use health information to make decisions; and in our case, understanding and making decisions about participating in clinical research. During this session we will learn more about Health Literacy and Plain Language and their impact on health care and research, and identify basic strategies that you can implement to improve Health Literacy amongst patients and research participants.
