About Our Survey

At University Hospitals, we believe in providing patients with all the information they need to make educated decisions about their health care and to choose the right doctor to meet their needs. That is why we partner with the independent patient satisfaction company Press Ganey to survey patients about their experiences at UH facilities and with UH physicians. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and are dedicated to creating a positive patient experience for every individual who sees a UH doctor.

I have always thought highly of Sandusky Peds and Dr Waynar, but this most recent visit meant more than they will know. This visit was my first for *****, and an acute visit. I was able to speak directly with Dr Waynar that Saturday morning. She got me in the first thing that morning. The receptionist checked us in promptly *****, the nurse brought him back as soon as the receptionist was done. She welcomed him to the practice, was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Waynar was in immediately after the nurse. She was thorough and reassuring. She explained what was going on with my son and took the time to review her plan of care, while including me in the decision making. She ordered labs and followed up with me immediately on both saturday and Sunday! I just can't say enough good about this practice, thank you for truly caring and providing an excellent service!

Dr was excellent but we waited close to an hour to see her and arrived 5 mins before our appointment time.

this was my first experience with Sandusky Peds and the office and doctor certainly lived up to all the good things I had been told. The physician was kind and spent time explaining things and answering my questions.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Marin Waynar, MD did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.

There is no publicly available rating for this medical professional because he or she either does not see patients or has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and a true reflection of patient satisfaction.
