Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Pizzaro always takes time to explain and is very attentive to my needs. I have no complaints and in fact, I would recommend highly to my colleagues, friends, etc.
Dr Pizzarro and staff are extremely professional and kind. They always find a way to accommodate my hectic schedule and are always available to answer questions when I have them. He is diligent with his follow up on the care he provides and extremely thoughtful during our visits.
Always a excellent experience!
This was a very good and timely visit with health plan moving forward. Follow up tests and appointments were the best ever with UH as I got appoints quickly and coordinated so time was to a minimum. Experience with Dr. Pizarro was excellent and we have a plan to address health concerns and remedies of action. Good job!
Dr Pizarro is a great doctor he Is friendly and professional. He will sit and listen to your concerns and do what it takes to make you feel comfortable. The staff at the chagrin office are fantastic. Once again personal and professional.
Terrific practitioner. Thank you!!
Excellent doctor. Cares very much about my health ! Very Compassionate.
Dr. James Pizarro has always explained everything to me, in layman's terms. I plan to grow old with Dr. Pizarro. Excellent care.
This is my regular provider and have nothing but admiration and praise for him and his staff. I am alive today because of them.
Always a pleasant visit with Dr. Pizarro. He is very good with explanations. He also makes it clear that I am the one responsible for my health. That drives me to motivate myself to continue my exercise program and to pay attention to everything that I eat. No blaming outside sources.
I had a good experience with Dr. Pizarro, as in the past.
Dr. Pizarro and his staff show genuine concern for me and really reduce any anxiety I might feel about seeing the doctor.
Doctor and staff always meet or exceed expectations; very easy to talk to; Dr. Always has good information and ideas to better my health
Everyone at UH are exception. Always taking good care of my needs
Dr Pizarro is 100 percent with me during every appointment. The office staff are pleasant and professional. I can't say I love going to the doctor's, but at least I get to see Dr Pizarro and Amanda.
I always told Dr. Pizarro if he goes to the moon, I'm going too! He is an awesome physician and i'm blessed to have him over my medical care! What a great team he has! I am a customer service advocate, as I've worked for UH 25 years, this office delivered the same customer service that I did! I have no complaints, as they are consistent with each visit! Patients aren't just "business only", relationships need to be formed! I love this team! Smiles, empathy, privacy, and RESPECT are so appreciated!
I absolutely put my trust in Dr. Pizzaro. I have been seeing him for years and when he moved to a different location I still drove 35 minutes to see him! Very kind, compassionate, and thorough!
Dr Pizarro is always great and professional! Great Man!!
I love Dr P and his staff. ***
Dr Pizarro is always great. I believe this is the first time I met Jan. She was awesome - very friendly and professional and a great addition to his staff.
Excellent
Satisfied.
The care of this provider is good. I wiould like him to have afternoon appointments not just appointments before noon.
Always great
Dr Pizarro and his staff out the best office to go to- I would never recommend another office
Love seeing Dr. Pizarro ... He and his staff (*** and his nurse assistant) treat us like we are family! Very nice and and efficient.
Dr. Pizarro is consistently kind, caring, and competent. He takes time to listen, to explain, and is respectful. I did find it difficult to schedule.
This was a simple follow up visit due to the fact I became type 2 adult onset diabetic. My blood sugar results were outstanding. Dr pizzaro was very pleased
Dr Pizzaro is an excellent Dr in my opinion. He always listens to my concerns and gives advice if I need it. I am pleased to have him as my provider. If it wasn't for him my health wouldn't be what it is today. My blood pressure was high when I went to see him 7 years ago. He has been a blessing to me. He helped me through an *** surgery and found me the best surgeon Dr *** who I was very thankful for. I probably wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for Dr James Pizzaro and Dr ***.
The clerks and nurse were terrific and very organized, efficient and cheerful. Dr Pizarro was calm, encouraging and clearly had thought about what course of action would be best for me. I like him a lot as my primary doctor.
Dr. James Pizarro is amazing. He is so respectful and caring to me and spends enough time with me and doesn't make me feel rushed. I feel that he genuinely cares about me as a person and wants me to be as healthy as possible and have a good life.
Dr. Pizzaro has been my primary provider for several decades. I'm very pleased with his care.***
Dr. Pizarro is thoughtful, patient and professional. I feel fortunate to have him as my provider.
Dr Pizarro and I agreed what the plan was going forward, but didn't do what we said the plan was.
Excellent as usual
He is one of few doctors who listen and has a two way conversation with patients
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
