Dr. Wiseman is wonderful. The early morning opportunity to call and speak directly with a doctor is just terrific. He listened to my concerns about my daughter's ear infection not getting better, he got her in for an appointment within an hour, then changed her antibiotic and she was better within 24 hours after suffering with it for 4 days. Thank you Dr. Wiseman!

I absolutely love Dr. Wiseman. He's so personable, explains things in a very laid-back manner, and makes me feel like he genuinely cares about my son and our family. I couldn't ask for better service from a pediatrician. I hope to be able to continue using him as my children grow up.

Dr. Wiseman always takes time to validate and praise our parenting while also providing rational and helpful feedback for change. He answers our questions without judgement. Other providers and nurses have been helpful over the morning phone in hour as well. Overall happy with the agency as a whole.

Staff is so friendly and helpful- we love coming to the office. Dr Wiseman is great- he called with results of my daughter's ultrasound the same day, which meant a lot to my husband and me. He is thorough with the babies, and encouraging to parents. We appreciate all the doctors/staff at SP and their time they give to our children!

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
