He gives very clear and detailed information. Uses examples and terminology that's easy to relate to. I had other questions that weren't really pertaining to my follow up and he answered all of those also.

I had a very good experience. The Doctor was very calm with me I was in pain and lacked sleep. I don't think I was very pleasant. I had a fear that he would not help me. After His calming attitude I was able to communicate my needs. He was very helpful. I calmed down. He will work with me. He is a top rating Doctor. I have already recommended Him to family and friends. He is thorough and conveys a true concern about me.

On the third day after my procedure, I sent a message to Dr. Sherlock via "My Chart" regarding my condition. I yet to hear from anyone. That is a little concerning as I was "concerned" or I would not have sent the message!

Pleased with the procedure I had done.Would recommend a follow-up call the day after the procedure.I had NO problems but I think It would be a nice follow-up.

This visit was a referral because of U/S results. First time visit, I could not have chosen a better physician! Excellent listener. Explanations were in very understandable terms. Explained test results, and relieved my worries about irregularities which are part of the natural aging process. Took care of my issues that day versus making me return for another visit - very thorough! Dr. Sherlock Prescribed a prescription and he will follow-up (virtual) in a month to be sure that is solving my issue. I hope I don't have new health concerns in the future - but I know he will be my first choice if I need his expertise!

He's always been a really good Doctor. My condition is basically like no others and he and I have worked over the years to try to figure things out that might help.I've been to other hospitals and Doctors for over 25 years but I stick with him because he cares and we actually teach each other things about issues with my health.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Douglas Sherlock did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
