About
Allison Noe, OD, MS, is a pediatric optometrist at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology. She is also an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences.
Dr. No completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton, earning her bachelor's degree in biology with honors. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she earned dual degrees of Doctor of Optometry (magna cum laude) and Master's in Vision Science (summa cum laude). Her master's research focused on the retinal physiology and intra-ocular transfer of intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells, which are implicated in myopia development. A member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and Gold Key honor society, she earned the Clinical Excellence in Binocular Vision and Pediatrics award for the class of 2025.
Dr. Noe completed a residency in pediatric optometry at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's upon her graduation from Ohio State. She gained ample experience in routine eye care and ocular disease in pediatric patients, amblyopia and strabismus, specialty contact lens fitting, myopia management and working with special needs children. As a Cleveland native, she is thrilled to be practicing in Northeast Ohio at University Hospitals and is very grateful to be serving a population that means so much to her.
Her specialty clinical interests include binocular vision evaluation with management of amblyopia and strabismus, myopia management, routine and specialty contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management in pediatric patients. She frequently co-manages with other specialties within UH Rainbow Babies and Children's. She is involved with Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG) and clinical research within and outside University Hospitals, and practices evidence-based medicine by attending local and national continuing education events and conferences.
Dr. Noe approaches clinical care with a welcoming and warm demeanor and is skilled at making her patients feel comfortable and at ease at all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, running, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family.
