The doctor was very concerned about my reaction to what she told me which I appreciated. I felt comfortable with her.

The doctor made me feel comfortable asking questions. He was patient and never made it seem like he was trying to rush the appointment along.

Dr. Kazi is clear, truthful, and compassionate. He exceeded all my expectations. He informed me of all possible options before my surgery and allowed me time to think things over without pressure. His surgery technique was excellent and left me in good shape for a speedy recovery. When I asked questions, he gave honest answers. Through all of this he was kind, cheerful, and genuine. I highly recommend him. Thank you!

Dr. Kazi is one of very few doctors with proper bed-side manner. He takes time to listen and answer questions. I appreciate all that he did for my father. He and his team more or less, saved my father's life. Thank you

Great communication and surgeon

Dr Kazi was excellent to work with. He was very caring and took the time necessary to listen to me and to explain my procedure in detail. I felt very comfortable and confident in him - hence why I elected to have him perform the procedure. His post-surgery follow-up and care was also excellent. I would definitely consider him for any future needs, and would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
