Dr Vitiello is the best pediatrician. she is personable, caring and treats our son like one of her own. We are so comfortable with her and our son is able to tell her anything. She is sweet and kind, and always makes him feel at ease.

are vitiello always takes her time and makes my 11-year-old feel very comfortable. She asks her questions and respond in a way that doesn't make her feel stupid or embarrassed. we also never feel rushed in her office. She said and answers all of our questions thoroughly. she is an amazing pediatrician!

Dr Vitiello is wonderful! She is so good with our daughter and our daughter is not scared to see her. She makes going to the doctor a pleasurable experience. The morning call hours with the doctor are so helpful. We are able to speak with her directly and get answers very quickly.

This doctor is the BEST! We have been coming to this pediatric center since my 22 year old daughter was young. I have liked a lot of doctors here, but she is by far my favorite. My son was having issues the past 3 years with nausea, headache, and extremely lethargic for no apparent reason. I have brought him to see a doctor about it probably 5-6 times because he was missing so much school, but nobody knew what to say. When we finally saw her in September, she thought it might be childhood migraines and suggested we see a neurologist. Sure enough, she was right, and now we have learned coping strategies for him during his episodes while trying to figure out the trigger. She's awesome!!

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
