Cynthia R. Gherman, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician with University Premier Pediatricians, seeing patients at the Euclid, Ohio, office. She is a member of the Rainbow Care Network, the region’s largest coordinated group of medical professionals providing care to children. She has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and is Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Gherman is board certified in pediatrics. Her special interests include breastfeeding, asthma and childhood development.

Dr. Gherman earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her pediatric residency at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and joined University Premier Pediatricians in 1995.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Gherman enjoys walking/hiking with her family and dog, Ziggy. When she isn’t working, she loves to read, is an avid baker and enjoys working out at the gym doing step aerobics, cardio training and yoga.

Dr. Gherman has been my daughter Lucy's primary care pediatrician since she was born in ***. She also was the primary pediatrician for most of my other 3 kids' childhoods. Dr. Gherman has been very, very thorough and caring with my childrens' healthcare all these years. I have always felt we were In good hands with her. She never hesitates to recommend specialists and further testing on any troubling symptoms any of my kids may have had over the years. Therefore I never felt any sickness or symptom was Ignored or overlooked.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
