I consider myself fortunate to have the services of Dr. Farrah.

I had to wait for 40 minutes before I was taken in. I learnt that Dr. Farah had not been provided enough time to see a couple of patients before me. For two new patients he had been provided 20 minutes each instead of the 40 minutes required. I believe a patient should not have to wait for 40 minutes before being seen by the physician.

The attending nurse was more concerned with her political views than my medical needs. I had to redirect her to focus on me instead of her own. Very unprofessional but Dr. Farah was awesome.

It was like having a "real" family doctor again. I saw Dr. Farah because I have an ongoing heart situation and needed a new cardiologist. He came in without a computer and sat down and talked to me. He looked me in the eye and had notes about my recent blood tests. He was friendly and kind and when I mentioned my 2 previous heart docs who did my ablation procedures, He knew them and made me feel like we'd all be on the same page. He listened to my chest, checked my legs for edema and was TOP NOTCH. It was the best doctor I've seen since *** retired. He was awesome!!

He was one of the MOST professional, yet extremely friendly doctors I have seen in well over the last 10 years. He never exaggerated or used scare tactics to get me to request more services. And MOST important, he seen through the nonsense the doctor who referred me tried pulling. Meaning, he used his education and experience instead of blindly accepting the nonsense from the other "doctor" who literally made things up and she spoke. He honestly was above and beyond the doctor I suspected I would see. He KNOWS his stuff. ***

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, George Farah did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
