I am new to this practice. The team was excellent and established an immediate rapport. When the doctor arrived, that rapport was continued. they explained everything, patiently answered any questions had, explained my x-rays, and set up the follow-up appointment. They treated me with respect as a patient and as a person. Doctors sometimes forget that patients do have functioning brains and insights into their own physicality, as they live in these bodies every day. Dr. Cupp and his team were excellent in every way. They all exude a positive energy that is contagious. I will be very happy continuing with this practice.

I have gone to numerous Dr. such as other orthopedic, chiropractic, bone specialist, Neurologist, Pain Management, Tri-genics doctors to no avail. Whereas, Dr. Cupp took the time to do a thorough exam of both of my knees and determined my issue as ***. Made recommendations and treatment. This was the first time in years I felt a Dr. actually listened to me and determined what my diag. is and treatment needed. Thank you, Dr. Cupp and his assistant Dr. ***. Blessings to both of you. Keep doing what you are doing with your wonderful care and bedside manner. ***

very excellent visit w/ Dr Cupp. Excellent manner, very personable and focused on me. Intent on getting to the cause of my issue that brought me there. Wish he were a primary/GP rather than a specialist. :-)

My entire experience that day was excellent. I got a same day appointment, and from the receptionist to the x-ray tech to Dr. Cupp, every person was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Cupp showed me my x-rays and explained the reason for my knee pain. Before giving the injection, he asked if that was the treatment that I wanted, and did an excellent job in the process.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Sean Cupp did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
