This was my first visit with Kathryn Alto, NP. She was kind, courteous, and well informed. I met with her to establish care. I'm glad I chose her as a provider and I'm looking forward to our next visit. Exceptional!

Katie Alto continues to have my trust and does an excellent job. As noted earlier she listens, takes her time, cares about my health, and is very professional and prepared for my visits. She continues to be the main reason I come to this location. I was one of the very first patients when this specific office was opened with one doctor.

I have seen this provider twice and plan on continuing my care with her. She makes me feel very comfortable to speak with her with my physical and mental health concerns. I did not feel judged by her at all. I'm very happy with seeing her.

Katie Alto continues to be a caring, professional, well informed medical person I have great confidence. She takes the "time" to listen and insure everything has been discussed. She is a great example of how to treat patients.

Kathryn Alto went Above and Beyond in my opinion. She came into the office extra early to check on my blood work which saved my life.

Reviewed On 10/1/2020
Doctors really do care! Kathryn is one of those rare individuals that is encouraging and concerned but NOT judgmental. I really do "feel better" after my visits.

Best care giver around. Always pays attention to my health issues and tries to update treatments as needed. ***

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Kathryn Alto did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
