Dr Eric Shapiro is an excellent Gastroenterologist. He explained the procedure before the colonoscopy, asked If I had concerns or questions. After the procedure he went over what he found asked how I felt and told me I would be notified about the pathology reports when they were done. He is very caring and is easy to talk to, understand and listens to my concerns. He focuses on his patients and orders tests... to get to the root of ones issues. I am so glad he was recommended to me. It Is hard to find the good doctors with his qualities anymore.

Dr. Shapiro is exceptional. He listens and does not dismiss me and clearly cares about me and his patients. He is the best in every way. He was able to identify issues that other providers have repeatedly missed and never is dismissive of my or my concerns and honestly with the tests he ordered and the results that came up (for which he called me on a Friday late afternoon to tell me the results and what to do about them) he was able to identify health issues that other providers have missed (since they do not listen and/or just dismissed my concerns) and his identification of these health issues will not only make a huge difference in my quality of life and my health but just may have saved my life. To say he is exceptional is an understatement.

Dr. Shapiro is the best. I wish I could see him for all my medical care. He listens, remembers my history, demonstrates genuine care, concern, respect, empathy and compassion, and makes me feel that I am important, my concerns are important, and he demonstrates such expertise, wisdom and Interest around helping me figure out what is going on that I cannot speak enough good about him. I have had too many doctors dismiss my concerns, not remember who I am or what my medical history is, and just seem like they generally don't care about me. Dr. Shapiro does none of those things, in fact he does the opposite. He is amazing and brilliant and kind and I recognize I am repeating myself but I truly do wish he could handle all my medical care. He is genuine and caring and treats me like I matter and my health matters. He is exceptional beyond measure.

Dr. Shapiro is very knowledgeable, empathetic and very kind. He listened carefully to everything that I had to say and based some of his comments on what I said. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciated that. I called with a question in the morning. He called me back the same day at 6:45 p.m. Ibvio well past office hours. I am very grateful and happy I found him to be my Gastroenterologist

Very good experience. I have been with Dr Shapiro for my last 3 to 4 visits for the colonoscopy, so this spans approximately 20 years. I've always had very good experiences while either in the office or during the procedure. Dr Shapiro is certainly the type of doctor you'd like to have! Thanks, Dr Shapiro, for all you've done for me!

Dr. Shapiro has been my gastroenterologist for probably 30 years. He is the only doctor who cares for me in this area. I have complete confidence in him. It was difficult to answer some of the questions because of the affect of anesthesia. Historically, I go out like a light and take my time waking up. My wife listens for me and she has an excellent memory!
