Patient Experience Reviews
I love Dr.Segal an the whole staff I encounter on my visits. Everyone is friendly professional and never make you feel rushed.
He was an excellent listener and thorough in plan of care.
Warm and caring!
Staff at Dr Segals office is top notch! Very friendly and respectful & timely in getting me admitted. Never wait more than 5 min.
Met my needs in the expected professional and friendly manner
Good
Dr. Segal is a wonderful provider, he is kind and patient and looked at me when I talked to him. He has a perfect bedside manner and made me feel like he was interested in me. He and Dr. *** are the two best doctors that has provided me care.
Dr. Segal was terrific. He spent about 45 minutes with me to assess my bone problem and explore solutions. I wish that he had introduced himself and had eye contact at the beginning of this first visit. He came Into the room quietly and sat at the computer for a few minutes to review my records. He was friendly after that, but the beginning of the visit was awkward.
The dr and staff are always polite and caring I appreciate all of them
Competent, caring and conscientious!

Very pleased
I had an excellent experience with my doctor
Excellent experience with this provider. He is a specialist, not my internist. So we talked about my recent bone density scan and my progress and continued plans. This doctor has turned around my serious situation into a very hopeful and positive outcome!
Dr. Segal is the best Rheumatologist I have seen since my diagnosis and I hope to continue to be able to see him for my health care needs!
Great Dr
Dr. Allen Segal is a very nice person and doctor.
Dr. Siegel and his entire team treated me with dignity and respect. He provides services for multiple family members and it's an excellent doctor. The entire team is courteous, polite and thoughtful of my needs. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The medical assistant was great! Very friendly and explained & even did some education. I'm a nurse & I was quite impressed with her. I believe her name was Shondra? I tried to remember her name bc she was so good but not sure I have it correct but I highly suggest you hold onto her..very few MAs of her caliber! Thank you!

One of the best doctors I have been to
Experience was fair.
Dr.Segal is outstanding in terms of explaining my condition and options for treatment. His staff is caring and supportive. I'm grateful for their competence and compassion.
Dr. Segal is the best
Wonderful
Dr. Segel provided excellent patient care. He ordered x-rays and bloodwork as follow up to my visit. I have been going into the patient portal for results. Unfortunately, I do not have a follow up visit with Dr. Segel until late August to discuss results and next steps. I am on a wait list if an appt is available sooner.
I love doctor Segal and his team. Everyone there is always amazing. They always take the time you need never make you feel rushed and always make sure you understand things and take the time to listen to what you have to say. All doctors and their teams should treat people as well as Dr. Segal and his team.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
