UH Ashland is our "Go To" hospital *** Our Doctor is worth the half hour drive when we see her twice a year. She and her staff always make it a joy to put our medical care in UH for what you can do ***

Dr Megan always asks if there are any other questions I have before I leave.

Dr and nurse provided exceptional care. Receptionist bordered on rude when I first entered as she wanted to finish her paper work before she checked me in. ***

So thankful I found Dr. Oberhauser after we moved...she was not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Dr. I visited after our move here, but she was definitely hired on the spot. I have various health issues and she is on top of all of them. [...]

Dr. Oberhauser is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. And that means a lot because I've seen a lot doctors in the past 20 years.

Dr. Oberhauser listens carefully to questions and concerns. She carefully considers my input on issues before she makes recommendations. She can handle most health issues but I appreciate that she will make good referrals if my health issue requires it. she is a very warm and friendly person and I feel she really carefully considers my health issues. I would (and have) recommend her to someone looking for a doctor in this area.

Dr. Oberhauser and her staff are concerned for patients and their care. They are professional yet conversational, and show an interest in patients. I appreciated Dr. Oberhauser's question "Do you have any other concerns today?" which shows holistic concern. Grateful to have Dr. Oberhauser in our community.

Visit was to establish as a patient of Dr. Oberhauser. She was interested in past medical history, and visit was a relaxed conversation rather than just a question-and-answer session. Overall good visit and glad to have Dr. Oberhauser providing primary care in our community.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
