My regular specialist was on emergency family leave so her CNP did my annual exam. I always see my doctor so I had never met Lung San before. He knew quite a lot about me so must have reviewed my records. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the practice specialty (neurology). I felt very well understood and cared for.

Very kind and attentive to my health I felt very comfortable and important. The best medical experience I've had in a long time. Really took time to make sure I understood everything , and time to understand everything going on with my health. I'm so grateful I found such a compassionate doctor. I'm impressed with the quality of my care.

Lung S Louie provided the best care I have ever received medically in my life. He was very thorough and stayed with me for over an hour, making sure I understood all of my options and getting a thorough understanding of my problem. Although I did not walk out with the outcomes I walked in wanting, his care made me feel confident in the outcomes I had received and made me feel better about my condition. He made sure that I was as taken care of as possible and left future opportunities in my hands regarding further tests and medications. It was a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone having headaches.

This was a follow up appointment. We worked hard to come up with an appropriate plan of action. Between appointments I had an allergic reaction to one of the prescribed medicines and emailed the provider. I received a prompt response to stop the medicine and follow up with appropriated provider if the symptoms did not abate. Very good communicator in the office and via email.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
