George M. Farah, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiovascular imaging specialist with University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Farah earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. For his postdoctoral training, Dr. Farah completed a residency in internal medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He has also completed specialized training in cardiovascular imaging, including cardiac computed tomography (CT), echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Farah has authored professional publications related to the use and clinical outcomes associated with various cardiovascular imaging modalities.

Dr. Farah is an active member of the American College of Cardiology.

Although had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Farah within the month, due to recent heart/lung issues, his office was extremely helpful in getting my appointment with him moved within the week of onset of problems and was able to get an appointment quickly rescheduled also for a pending echo cardiogram. Was very thankful for all the efforts so that I could have both appointments advanced.

Dr. Farah reviewed all the steps completed from last years visit and brought us to the current visit, medication changes, test performs, my request for medication change/replacement in our 2022 visit. ( annual visits)Noted my smart watch and ask of the readings for Atrial Fibrillation. We discussed current residual issues from a bout with Covid and my PC's treatment plan. We discussed it, and he informed me what to do should I go into Afib. He is thorough, listens to my concerns ( medication change last year, clarifying how to take another medication, steps to transition,called me with test results.). Good guy..feel quite comfortable with him. Responded to any MyChart notification questions I have sent to him.partners with me In my health care.
