Dr. Collins was excellent! She had obviously taken a good look at my health history before seeing me (as a new patient referral for an abnormal test) and planned the appropriate follow up steps. She explained this all to me in a very clear manner and I left feeling very relieved and comfortable with the plan.

Dr Collins was fantastic in every way. She really listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease throughout my entire appointment. Would highly recommend her, and hope to interact with her in the future.

At the most recent visit, I felt that the provider dismissed some of my concerns and used too much medical jargon when explaining her thought process... She also seemed to be in a rush so I did not get to clarify and felt disempowered and frustrated as I left

Dr. Collins was beyond amazing. I have never experienced bedside manner that was so compassionate and warm! She explained everything so well, she also answered everything I asked. Simply a phenomenal visit!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Collins. She listened well and explained things clearly and even drew a diagram. She was personable and made me feel comfortable and confident in her care. Will definitely continue care with her.

Dr Collins is hands down the best person I have ever seen. She treated myself and my husband with respect and compassion when we had to go for further testing on our pregnancy. This was my first time with her and will definitely not be my last. I look forward to our next appointment together.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
