I have no complaints for my time in waiting to see the doctor, due to the fact that he takes the time to hear what you have to say about your health problems and then check you out thoroughly to make sure that all else is okay. I thank God for a doctor like Dr. Carson.

[...] I waited over an hour in the waiting room and fell asleep waiting in the patient room. I understand wait times and expect the physician to spend time with each patient, so I don't mind waiting. However, when Dr Carson got to me, he was rushed and I didn't get to go through all my concerns. I only see him once a year so I feel like I won't get these things addressed until next year.

As always, the most important factor in my decision to remain with Dr Carson and the Tri City physicians is their commitment to taking their patients' concerns seriously. I feel no matter how busy the schedule, Dr Carson listens to everything I have to say allowing me to voice concerns, ask questions and gain education.

Dr. Carson came highly recommended by a coworker. Dr. Carson has lived up to my expectations and I really appreciate that he has helped me to make life choices to improve my health instead of loading me up with medications.

overall my first interactions with Dr. Carson and his staff were ideal! I left the office feeling great about finding a new pcp. I have been without insurance for 3 years. We will be starting new coverage in January, so I was excited to build a relationship with someone versus seeing an urgent care doctor when needed. I was referred to his office from someone that spoke extremely highly of his bedside manner. [...]

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

View UH’s policy (PDF) on practitioner-industry relationships.

As of December 31, 2016, Dennis Carson did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
