My first visit with Dr. Abbass due to a snoring issue. My appointment was for 9:45am. I waited until 10:15am and then reminded the receptionist that I had been waiting for half an hour. In fairness to her, she was doing "double-duty" as receptionist as well as examine room nurse. Dr. Abbass was apologetic but appeared hurried during my exam.

Good experience. *** I've seen Dr Abbas's before for ear wax treatment, I would recommend him to family, friends.

I felt the provider was in too big of a hurry and did not even want to look in my throat or ears where I had wax built up. I wanted him to explain what and how they would do the biopsy.

Dr. Abbass was amazing and did a fantastic job fixing my broken nose. He was able to schedule my surgery within 24 hours of my office visit and my nose looks great. I would recommend him to anyone I know who needs an ENT.

He was running very late, almost an hour and to be honest I think he felt a little rushed, at least that is the impression I received. He is probably a very good doctor..... Probably over booked is all.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Hassan Abbass did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
