Volunteers are an essential part of the patient and family experience at UH Samaritan Medical Center. Our volunteers are committed to the mission of our hospital, to their community and want to give back in meaningful ways.

Volunteering at UH Samaritan is a great way to meet new people, make friends, and learn new skills. Volunteering increases physical activity, reduces stress and anxiety, and provides a sense of purpose.

Our Volunteer Services Department staff specializes in creating a personalized volunteer experience that enables our volunteers to use their individual skills, talents and abilities to make a difference.

Getting Started

If you are interested in volunteering at UH Samaritan Medical Center, please complete the volunteer application.

If you are interested in joining the UH Samaritan Medical Center Auxiliary, please complete the auxiliary application.

A member of the Volunteer Services Department will contact you to discuss your application and volunteer opportunities.
