Color Your World with The Rainbow Run

On June 25, hundreds of runners and walkers will pass through colors of the rainbow at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills to raise money for UH Rainbow Babies & Children's. This is the fourth year that The Rainbow Run founders Madison Asher and Kennedy Ricci, college juniors and Gilmour Academy alumni, have organized the race/walk, which showers participants with a variety of color powders and creates a stunning rainbow-like effect by race's end.

With the help of runners, donors and sponsors, last year's The Rainbow Run had its best outing yet, reaching its fundraising goal of $30,000 and bringing total giving to $87,000. Madison and Kennedy hope to raise even more support this year.

"The Rainbow Run 2016 is a fun family event that is raising awareness and support for the amazing work being done at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital," said Kennedy.

"The Rainbow Run brings the community together to bring awareness and to support this wonderful cause," added Madison. "I have always felt so blessed with my health, and I want to give back in any way I can."
