Description:

Who are the COOLest Clevelanders? Those brave enough to take a chilly Arctic Plunge for a good cause! Join us on Saturday, March 7, for the 5th Annual Cleveland Arctic Plunge (formerly the Polar Bear Plunge) at Lake Erie’s Edgewater Park. Take the plunge to raise money and awareness for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Team FOX - Michael J. Fox’s organization to find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, and Westshore Critical Incident Response Service.

Each year, more brave souls take the plunge. Get crazy creative with costumes if you dare! Kids are welcome! There will be prizes for fun contests, and the Greater Cleveland Aquarium Mascots, Pygmy the Seahorse & Sandy the Shark, will be on shore cheering everyone on! Plungers receive a commemorative Arctic Plunge knit hat & enjoy an After Party at the Barley House (1261 W. 6th St., Cleveland, OH) featuring live music by Masters of Disasters featuring Billy Morris. Sponsors include Ed & Enzo's M.O.D. Masters of Disaster, Barley House, Michael Maslar Insurance, Jim's Tents, City View Studios, and Boondock Walker.
