University Hospitals Helps with Haiti Relief Efforts
After the devastating earthquake in Haiti, thousands of people are now left with a desperate need for medical attention and financial support.
UH and other American hospitals are closely monitoring the situation in Haiti to best determine how we can help the survivors of this catastrophe. Through our affiliation with the National Disaster Medical System, we have offered our assistance in:
- The coordination of hospital beds for survivors who may be moved to the United States for medical treatment, and
- Providing medical supplies and equipment.
In addition, we are also prepared to support the federal government’s rescue and recovery efforts by sending medical personnel volunteers and assisting with critical care transportation for injured victims.
How You Can Help
