Applicants who are selected for an interview are provided with overnight accommodations, at a subsidized rate, at the beautiful Glidden House in University Circle. Hotel arrangements will be made for you by our program.
This lovingly restored mansion on the campus of Case Western Reserve University is one of the most elegant hotels in Cleveland, Ohio. The Glidden House is within walking distance to Cleveland's finest museums and cultural institutions, UH Case Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, and is easily accessible to downtown Cleveland.
Free parking is available at the Glidden House and Breakfast is included with your stay. The Glidden House is a short 10-minute walk to UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. You also have the option of riding the Case Commuter Shuttle, with a convenient pick up stop just steps from the Glidden House. If you wish to drive to the interview, parking is available in the UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Visitors Garage, on Adelbert Road, just past the main entrance to the hospital.
If you are attending the casual dinner with our residents the evening before your interview, please meet our residents in the lobby of the Glidden House at 6:30 p.m. and they will transport you to and from dinner.
Directions to the Glidden House
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is a short thirty-minute drive, or an easy train ride on public transit, and is served by many major airline carriers. Car rental and taxi service are available at the terminal and nearby locations, and the public transit station is inside the terminal. Please see the "Directions and Transportation Options" page for detailed directions. These will also provided in your interview packet.
