When surgical or interventional therapy is required, physicians consult with UH vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists and interventional radiologists. Accredited by The Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL), our vascular lab is renowned for its stringent quality assurance practices and commitment to patient care. State-of-the-art equipment and technologies enable our Registered Vascular Technologists (RVTs) to conduct reliable ultrasound/noninvasive testing of arteries and veins in locations across Northeast Ohio, where they complete more than 14,000 studies a year.
