The Kidney Transplantation Program at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital host the largest End Stage Renal Disease program in northeastern Ohio and is one of 20 centers in the United States participating in the Cooperative Clinical Trials in Pediatric Transplantation [CCTPT] study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. The study examines issues of efficacy and safety of new anti-rejection medications.
