Eighty-five percent of all head and neck cancers are linked to tobacco use. Although the patient featured in this segment is not a smoker, his diagnosis was stage four tongue cancer. He opted for organ preservation measures which are a combination of chemo and radiation therapy, and he wanted to be part of a clinical trial.
