Non-invasive vascular diagnostic programs
  • Venous duplex upper and extremities: a Duplex Ultrasound exam uses sound waves to create images of the arteries and veins in the lower extremities. It is also used to record blood flow sounds within the arteries and veins.

  • Upper and lower extremities vein mapping: a Doppler ultrasound probe is run along the upper and lower extremities to access for deep and superficial venous clots.

  • Pre-op vessel mapping: Duplex ultrasound equipment is utilized to evaluate arterial inflow, venous outflow and the adequacy of the venous system to support an autogenous (self-generating) or prosthetic (artificial) access in the extremity.

  • Peripheral arterial segmental physiologic evaluation (aka PVR - Pulse Volume Recording)

  • Evaluation for thoracic outlet compression syndrome: tests to confirm the diagnosis of thoracic outlet syndrome: a condition characterized by pain in the neck and shoulder, numbness / tingling of the fingers, and weakening of the grip.

  • Extracranials: tests to confirm the diagnosis of atherosclerosis or vascular malformations in the head and neck.

  • Duplex scan of upper / lower arteries: a venous duplex scan uses sound waves to check how well the veins are returning blood to the heart. This exam can focus on the larger veins in either the upper or lower portion of the body.

  • Duplex scan of aorta, inferior vena cava: test to check blood flood in the aorta and inferior vena cava.

  • Renal artery duplex: test which uses a Duplex Ultrasound to diagnose diseases of the renal arteries.

Additional diagnostic procedures:

  • Electroencephalogram (EEG): a test used to detect problems in the electrical activity of the brain.

  • Pulmonary function tests (PFT): measure how well the lungs take in and exhale air and how efficiently they transfer oxygen into the blood.

  • Respiratory Procedures

  • Nuclear ventriculography: a test that uses radioactive materials called tracers to make heart chambers and blood vessels visible. The procedure is non-invasive, and the heart structures are not touched by instruments.
