The Heart & Vascular Institute’s Bedford Medical Center offers a convenient “one-stop shopping” experience where you can be diagnosed, treated and recover, all in the same facility. A comprehensive range of heart and vascular services (i.e. stress testing, catheterization lab, nuclear medicine, etc.) are provided on one floor, within one unit, with a natural separation between invasive and noninvasive services. Recovery is also located on the same floor, enabling us to provide a higher level of care. Additionally, images taken here are immediately available to be viewed at the main campus if necessary.
In February, 2007, we received a non-invasive lab accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL), an organization which recognizes high-quality noninvasive vascular diagnostic testing through a peer review process.
