University Hospitals Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Center has world-class experts who deliver comprehensive and personalized care access the full spectrum of CHD abnormalities. The multidisciplinary approach starts at earliest recognition of CHD – fetus, newborn, child, adolescent or as an adult and continues throughout their lifetime. Care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists, interventionalists, electrophysiologists, congenital cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonologists and radiologists. We are able to provide the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services for the full spectrum of congenital heart disease for pediatric or adult CHD patients.

  • World-class experts: our physicians have faculty appointments at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and are either board-certified or board-eligible in their respective surgical disciplines.

  • Support group: Rainbow Hearts welcomes parents of children who have had or will undergo surgery to treat congenital heart defects, and adults with congenital heart disease. This unique support group meets regularly, and provides opportunities for parents and CHD patients to share their experiences in a relaxed, positive, nurturing environment.
