This transitional nursery, adjacent to the normal newborn nursery, takes care of babies requiring some additional attention. Most transitional problems resolve in the first 24 hours.

Rainbows Transitional Care Center has one of the nations first programs for families with infants who spend prolonged periods in the NICU. The Transitional Care Center provides a supportive, comfortable environment where parents can stay with their child, participate in the childs care & actively prepare for life at home.
The staff is attuned to the many questions parents have about caring for their child at home, & provides practical information to help alleviate any fears.
