Thirty-one million Americans suffer from spinal problems at any given time. Olympic-style weight lifter Terry Shushta herniated a disc. He was helped by Dr. Deborah Blades who performed a procedure called a discectomy through a small incision in the front of the neck. “After the surgery it was amazing how good I felt,” said Shushta.
