Facial Reanimation
6 year old girl with left-sided fascial paralysis is shown prior to surgery, fascial reanimation is restored using a free gracilis muscle transfer innervated with a nerve to one of the muscles of chewing in the face. The patient is sewn postoperatively with the restorability to smile in her school photo. |
