Melanie Oster, RD, LDDepartment of Nutrition Services, UHC
Melanie is a Clinical Dietician for the Department of Nutrition Services at University Hospitals of Cleveland. As part of the bariatric health care team, she provides nutrition education to help patients achieve their health goals. Melanie sees patients pre-operatively and post-operatively in the hospital and regularly attends Support Group meetings. |

Barbara A. Lombardo, MSN, RN, CSClinical Nurse Specialist, UHC
For nearly 20 years, Barb has served as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist functioning as a consultant to healthcare teams and nursing staffs at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Barb provides supportive counseling to bariatric patients and families. |

Kathleen Vidal, RN, BSNHead Nurse, Tower 9, UHC
A 1987 graduate of Rush University, Kathleen began her nursing career at University Hospitals. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corp, she returned to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at UHC. In 1997 Kathleen became the Assistant Head Nurse on Lerner Tower 9, where bariatric patients are cared for following surgery. Currently she is the Head Nurse on Lerner Tower 9. |
