The pediatric orthopaedics department at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital

The Pediatric Orthopaedic Division specializes in spine and/or complex deformities, and also provides care for a wide spectrum of congenital and acquired musculoskeletal problems in children.


 

These include:

  • abnormalities of the upper and lower extremities, such as congenital hand deformities, congenital dislocation of the hip, torsional variations and club feet
  • spinal disorders and deformities, including scoliosis and kyphosis
  • neuromuscular disorders, such as cerebral palsy, myelodysplasia and muscular dystrophies
  • tumors, benign and malignant
  • skeletal dysplasia
  • trauma
