HOW THE COMMISSION DISCOUNT WORKS
Purchasing a Home (example):
Using Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer Company when you purchase a home valued at $100,000 and the commission rate is 7%, the total commission (Gross Commission) amount is $7,000. You receive a $700 check 7-10 days after closing.
Additionally, when your mortgage and closing is handled by HMAC and Barrister's of Ohio, you receive a $400 credit toward closing costs on your Settlement Sheet.
Your total saving on the purchase of that home: $1,100.00.
Selling a Home (example):
Using Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer Company when you sell a home valued at $100,000 and the commission rate is 7%, the total commission (Gross Commission) amount is $7,000.
You receive a $700 check 7-10 days after closing.
Your total savings selling that home: $700.00
