The Translational
Neuroscience Center provides a comprehensive link between physicians in the Neurological Institute and research
scientists so that new approaches to the treatment of major neurological disorders can be developed through
interaction, education and training.
In conventional research institutions, it often it takes many years
before research findings are translated to the care of patients. The goal of the Translational Neuroscience
Center is to promote new treatments to patients who need them as rapidly as possible.
