Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics
Our developmental-behavioral pediatricians provide evaluation and medical management of a variety of developmental-behavioral problems:
  • Developmental delay
  • Autistic spectrum disorders
  • Down syndrome and other genetic disabilities, including the behavioral problems associated with these disorders
  • ADHD

Psychology
Our psychologists provide psychological evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with behavioral and anxiety-based problems, including adjustment to chronic illness. Services include:
  • Assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders
  • Evaluation and management of feeding problems and gastrointestinal problems
  • Toileting problems/issues
  • Evaluation of emotional issues, and issues resulting from separation or loss
  •  Evaluation and management of the emotional and behavioral problems associated with chronic physical illness and adherence to medical regimens
  • Management of children with bedwetting problems, chronic pain, habit problems, pulmonary problems such as cough habits, vocal cord dysfunction, exercise-induced asthma, sleep disorders, and pseudo seizures and conversion disorders, through hypnosis and biofeedback

Pediatric Neuropsychology
Assessment of children with learning and school-related problems resulting from learning disabilities, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, head injury, seizure disorders, developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, cochlear implants, and cancer or other chronic physical conditions.  Services include:
  • A comprehensive evaluation that includes assessment of the child’s neurocognitive, behavioral, and learning abilities
  • Development of treatment plans that may include extensive evaluations, individual recommendations, and special assistance for  children who are chronically or acutely ill
  • Working with the child, parents, and teachers to establish a comprehensive plan to address learning needs
