Volunteer Application Process
Applications may be mailed, faxed, or brought in to our office. You can download and print the University Hospitals Volunteer Application by clicking
here
.
Prospective volunteers are required to:
Complete an application for volunteering.
Have an interview with Volunteer Services Department staff.
Complete a PPD/tuberculosis test at no cost to the volunteer.
Some areas require additional testing.
Attend a new volunteer orientation.
Provide two professional references.
Volunteers with direct patient contact will also be fingerprinted as a part of their background screening.
This process may take one month or more depending on your availability.
