UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Allergy/Immunology provides comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for children and adults with immunologic diseases. Immunology Services are offered by our specialists at various UH facilities including University Hospitals Landerbrook Health Center, Strongsville Medical Center, University Hospitals Westlake Health Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.

Our Immunology Clinics offer evaluation and treatment of immune deficiencies and autoimmune diseases, and comprehensive medical care for patients with these conditions, including Intravenous and Subcutaneous IgG infusion therapy.

Immune Therapy

Subcutaneous IgG Therapy: Subcutaneous injections of gammaglobulin were used by Bruton to treat the first patient diagnosed with agammaglobulinemia, in the early 1950’s. Read more.

IVIG Therapy

IVIG is used for three purposes; for patients who do not make antibodies or gammaglobulin, for patients with specific infections, and for patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Read more.
