Kelly Manuszak, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kelly Manuszak, M.A., CCC-SLPKelly received a Master’s of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Miami University. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses and in various treatment areas, which include cognitive-linguistic disorders, speech/language disorders, voice and swallowing disorders. Kelly has worked in a variety of settings including acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, and outpatient rehabilitation facilities for both adults and pediatrics. She has performed outpatient modified barium swallow studies for the past 7 years at outpatient facilities in Colorado and at The Cleveland Clinic. She currently serves University Hospitals St. John Medical Center as the Lead Speech Pathologist. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and The Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology. Kelly is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, neuromuscular electrical stimulation as a modality to treat dysphagia, and is a STAR (survivorship training and rehab) certified oncology rehab clinician. Kelly grew up in Warren, Ohio and relocated back to Ohio to be closer to family. She enjoys being as active as possible and spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Tara Carr, M.S. CCC-SLP

Tara Carr, M.S. CCC-SLPTara received her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012. She has been a licensed and ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist since 2012. Tara had the opportunity right after graduation to work with pediatrics in a school setting for one school year. Since then, she has worked as a full time Speech Language Pathologist at UH St. John Medical Center working with patients of all ages in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Tara is interested in swallowing disorders, neurological disorders resulting from brain injury, and pediatrics. Tara is originally from the St. Louis area and relocated to the Cleveland area with her husband after graduation. She is happy to be working in a community hospital that focuses strongly on caring for those in the community.

Sue Kasunick, MA, CCC/A

Sue Kasunick, MA, CCC/ASusan Kasunick is an Audiologist with over 25 years experience. She earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Akron and is currently working on her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) degree. Susan has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, school, ENT physician offices and private practice audiology groups. Susan is the Infant Hearing Screening Coordinator and Supervising audiologist here at UH St. John Medical Center. Susan enjoys working with both geriatric and pediatric populations with a special interest in aural rehabilitation. Susan is also a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
