AOA accredited program for 10 positions. Recruitment for the 2016-2017 Academic Year is temporarily on hold due to the ACGME transition. We anticipate resuming recruitment the following recruitment season to fill two positions for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.

Also four Internal Medicine and four Emergency Medicine positions are available.

Program Features:

  • Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine specialties are combined into a five year residency program
  • Residents attend lectures focusing on both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine curriculum
  • Monthly Journal Club
  • Weekly Board Review
  • Tumor Board Conferences
  • Current cases presented weekly, residents and attendings review charts, EKGs, etc.
  • Ohio University Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs (RPAC) – Statewide Education Days
  • Residents attend Department of Emergency Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine Staff Meetings which focus on topics such as quality assurance reviews and department protocols.
