Work Conditioning

Therapists Maximize a Patient’s Capacity to Return to Work

Work conditioning is an intensive, work-related, goal-oriented program that involves physical conditioning and job simulation tasks to help the injured worker regain optimal function and return to work.

The work conditioning program at University Hospitals addresses improvement in neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and musculoskeletal functions. It may also address reasonable accommodations for the worker and adaptations for the work environment.
