Support Groups

Connect with Others through Rehab Support Groups

University Hospitals Rehabilitation Services offers patients and families access to support groups to help them connect with others going through similar experiences. These groups allow patients to share their stories and support each other as they recover from illness, injury or surgery, helping one another through the rehabilitation process.

Our support groups include:

Stroke Support Group

UH offers stroke support groups for patients and families throughout the year, on both the east and west sides of town. Learn more about UH stroke support groups and other community stroke support groups.

Lymphedema Support Group

The Living with Lymphedema support group is available to anyone diagnosed with lymphedema and their loved ones. Having the support of others with the same condition can be empowering and help individuals deal with the issues that occur on a day-to-day basis.

This collaborative group provides educational opportunities to each person, along with the support of others that understand this complex condition.

The group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 6 – 8 p.m. It takes place at:

University Hospitals Concord Health Center Community Room

7500 Auburn Road
Concord Township, Ohio 44077

Refreshments will be served.
