Pharmacy Medical Education

University Hospitals Offers Residencies, Internships and Other Pharmacist Education Programs

University Hospitals Department of Pharmacy Services offers a variety of educational programs to help train the next generation of pharmacists. Our training programs provide pharmacy students, interns and residents with hands-on experience providing pharmacy services and patient care within a health system hospital setting.

Our Pharmacy Training Programs

We offer the following medical education programs for pharmacists in training:

PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Programs

PGY1 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program

PGYY2 Residency Programs

The deadline for 2017 pharmacy residency programs is Monday, January 2. Since the PGY1 pharmacy program at UH Portage Medical Center is new and will not be participating in the ASHP match, their deadline is December 16, 2016.
