Fellowship Programs Provide Specialized Training in Sports Medicine

University Hospitals Sports Medicine offers two accredited fellowship programs for physicians to gain further knowledge and experience in the field of sports medicine.

Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship

The Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship is one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship that offers a comprehensive surgical and clinical experience while caring for athletes at every level, from high school to professional.

Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship

The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is a dually accredited ACGME/AOA program offered through the division of General Academic Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. The goal of this program is to educate physicians in all aspects of caring for athletes, including medical care both on and off the field. Exposure to athletes of all ages is provided through both pediatric- and adult-focused primary care sports medicine clinics.
