Specialized Technology for Enhanced Patient Outcomes

To ensure a prompt, accurate diagnosis, the Community Neurology Center offers the latest technology and techniques, including:

  • EEG (electroencephalogram): Performed in community locations and reviewed by world-renowned epileptologists at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center
  • EMG (electromyography): An assessment of nerve and muscle function performed by registered technologists and physicians with subspecialty training in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine
  • Full autonomic lab tests: Performed throughout community locations, this testing of the autonomic nervous system is used to assess function of the nerve connections between the mind and the organs. Through this service, our physicians diagnose and treat adults and children with mysterious episodes of dizziness, fainting, vomiting or unexplained stomach pain. Physicians also address complex regional pain syndrome, unexplained or unmanaged pain in the pelvic region and issues of excessive sweating or other sweat or flushing related issues.
