Danny Rose, MT-BC

Danny Rose is a board certified music therapist within University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. He is currently serving inpatients with a focus on pain management, stress management, and educating patients on utilizing music for self-care. Danny is a transplant to the Cleveland area. He honed his skills as a musician throughout the Chicagoland area for many years, before traveling to central Illinois to receive his music therapy training. He has worked with patients in an acute hospital setting, patients receiving chemotherapy, students in an early intervention classroom, older adults suffering from dementia, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Danny received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University in 2009 and obtained a masters in music with a focus on music therapy from Illinois State University in 2018, completing his 6-month internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Outside of clinical work, Danny occasionally moonlights as John Oates in a Hall and Oates cover band, enjoys the Cleveland Metroparks, and spends time with his wife, Stephanie.
